Ingredients: 1 Red onion; 1 Orange, juiced; 1 Lime, juiced; A few pinches of fresh or dry Mexican oregano; 1 Tbsp. fresh Cilantro, chopped; ¼ - ½ tsp Montana Mex Jalapeño Seasoning; Salt &amp; fresh cracked black pepper to taste

Add layers of flavor to your tacos, salad, or sandwich with quick pickled onions. Charring the onion before slicing adds a hint of smoke & caramel to this tangy, crunchy topper!

Ingredients

1 Red onion
1 Orange, juiced
1 Lime, juiced
A few pinches of fresh or dry Mexican oregano
1 Tbsp. fresh Cilantro, chopped
¼ - ½ tsp Montana Mex Jalapeño Seasoning
Salt & fresh cracked black pepper to taste

Directions

On a hot skillet or grill, char onions on all sides for around 10 min.
Meanwhile, add all remaining ingredients to a medium bowl or jar, stir.
Remove onion from heat and let cool, then remove excessively charred pieces and thinly slice the remaining onion in 1/4'” slices.
Add your sliced onion to the other ingredients and let sit for a minimum of 30 min. Keep refrigerated for up to 3 days.
